Withers welcomes new corporate partner Rosa Ertze in New York

International law firm Withers has continued to grow the capabilities of its US corporate team and its Latin America practice with the addition of partner Rosa M. Ertze. Rosa joins the firm in New York from Duane Morris. 

Rosa has a broad ranging practice in corporate, M&A and lending transactions. She is a trusted advisor to many US domestic, multinational and foreign clients on matters with a cross-border element, often spanning the US, Mexico, Spain and other Latin American countries. Her clients, which include privately held multinational corporations and Fortune 500 companies, engage with her assistance in joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, direct private investments, private equity acquisitions and financings, restructurings, commercial lending, and general corporate matters.

Rosa is bilingual in English and Spanish and is qualified in Mexico and New York. She serves as the President of the Northeast Chapter of the US-Mexico Chamber of Commerce and is a board member in several non-profits serving the Hispanic communities in the US, like Tacombi Foundation, the Mexican Cultural Center of Philadelphia and Education for Sharing.

Rosa’s arrival to Withers follows several senior additions to the firm’s New York team, including family law partner Nicky Rooz, who joined in July; senior counsel Stephen Younger, who joined in June; and international arbitration partner Floriane Lavaud, who joined in April.
