Withers represents FC32 in acquisition of football club Spezia Calcio

FC32 acquires Spezia Calcio from the Platek family

International law firm Withers has assisted FC32 in its acquisition of the entire share capital of Spezia Calcio from the Platek family.

FC32, led by Australian manager Paul Francis, is the US holding company of an international football investment group, which controls two other professional clubs in Ireland and Austria (Cobh Ramblers and SKN St. Pölten). 

Through the investment in Spezia Calcio, FC32 consolidates its multi-club project with the aim of creating an international ecosystem for the development of football talent.

The Withers team was coordinated by Partners Luca Ferrari and Stefano Cignozzi, with the support of Senior Associate Francesca Nobili.

Partner Jacopo Liguori advised on the IP aspects. Associates Alessia Murgia, Fiona Giordani, Giusy Cardinale, Eugenia Guarda Nardini were involved in the performance of the legal due diligence.
