Sudipta Purkayastha

Sudipta is an associate in the international arbitration and public international law teams. She is a dual-qualified lawyer in England & Wales and India.

Prior to joining Withers, Sudipta worked with a senior barrister on cases before the various international criminal tribunals in The Hague, The Netherlands. She has experience working with a not-for-profit organisation on matters related to public international law, international criminal law, international humanitarian law, international human rights, as well as business and human rights (corporate accountability in relation to violations of international law). Most recently, she worked on issues of extraterritorial and universal jurisdiction over international crimes.
