Pooja leads the APAC risk and compliance unit working on analysis and resolution of professional, legal, regulatory and commercial issues. She is sought after, being one of the pioneers in Singapore to have embarked on risk and compliance in the legal sector. She has many years of experience working in international law firms managing their risk and compliance functions. She is skilled in developing and maintaining professional standards of conduct and management of risk and compliance, monitoring the appropriateness and effectiveness of the region's risk management procedures and operational risk.

Her areas of focus are business acceptance and client engagement, including conflicts of interest, anti-money laundering, reputational risk, anti-bribery and corruption, international sanctions and client confidentiality issues.She fluently speaks English, Punjabi, Hindi and Indonesian.
