As a corporate lawyer, I have had the opportunity to work on transactions that have benefited society. One of the most fulfilling projects I got to work on was the establishment of the Philippines' third telecommunications player. As a legal consultant to one of the primary investors, I was able to see the business grow, from the moment the operating entity was formed to the time when the entity started rolling out its services to the public. My belief that having another telecommunications operator would foster healthy competition resulting to the improvement of the quality of telecommunications services in the Philippines as well as create additional jobs for Filipinos inspired me to work diligently on the project. At present, the telecommunications operator has millions of subscribers and has created thousands of jobs. I look forward to working on similar projects and to working with clients who aim to be game changers in their respective industries.
