Kirsten is a consultant in the corporate team.
She joined the firm from JAG Shaw Baker when they merged with Withers to create a new legal offering, Withers tech, in 2018.
Kirsten is a Chartered UK Trade Mark Attorney attorney with more than 15 years of experience working in private practice and in industry. Kirsten advises on brand name protection, registering trade marks and deals with contentious proceedings before the UK Intellectual Property Office.
She started her career at Simmons & Simmons before moving in-house where, prior to joining JAG Shaw Baker, she spent seven years at easyGroup protecting the easyJet, easyCar and other ‘easy' brands.

I specialise in trade mark, design and brand protection; my practice ranges from helping clients select a brand name, to securing registered trade mark protection and to ensuring that my clients retain exclusivity in that name. This involves trade mark clearance searches, trade mark filing/prosecution and contentious proceedings before the UK and EU Intellectual Property Offices.
I also work closely alongside our network of international law firms to protect our client's brands and designs on an international basis. There is never a dull moment.
Outside of the office, I enjoy entertaining, hiking and skiing cautiously!
