Jamie is an associate in the litigation and arbitration team.
He has a broad commercial practice, with experience working on cross-border disputes involving commercial fraud, shareholder disputes, partnership disputes, joint ventures, asset recovery, insolvency and banking disputes. He has worked across a broad range of courts including the High Court and Court of Appeal as well as arbitrations.
Jamie has a particular focus on the sports sector. After training at Withers, Jamie went on secondment to a Formula One team where he worked on disputes, regulatory matters, sponsorship deals, driver contracts, commercial transactions and investor relations. As well as his work in Formula One, Jamie has also acted for a Premier League football club and top-level sports coaches in sports arbitrations. He is a trustee of a sports charity.
Jamie also has experience acting in high-value employment disputes, particularly when complex commercial issues arise out of them. This includes disputes involving whistleblowing, regulatory matters, confidentiality breaches, misrepresentation, employee share schemes, breaches of directors' duties and shareholder disputes.
