U.S Tax Compliance under QI Regime – Korean Security Brokerage Houses

Advised more than 20 Korean security brokerage houses and commercial banks to comply with their obligations as Qualified Intermediaries under the relevant U.S. tax law and regulations. This matter also involves consulting the Korean financial institutions on the recent changes to the U.S. tax laws and regulations, which involves significant amendments to the withholding tax regime applicable to non-U.S. investors of U.S. publicly traded partnerships.
