Frederick is a fourth seat trainee currently sitting in the litigation and arbitration team.
He previously completed a seat in the Employment team where he engaged with both contentious and non-contentious work, including the drafting of settlement agreements and employment contracts, attending Employment Tribunal hearings and assisting with advising Senior Executives on their options regarding the termination of their employment/their exit.Frederick’s second seat was in the Private Client and Tax team. During this seat, he assisted with the drafting of wills, lasting powers of attorney and with the drafting of detailed advice notes regarding client’s potential UK tax residency status. He also assisted with ongoing HMRC queries/investigations.
Frederick’s first seat was with the Corporate Charities team, where he assisted with the incorporation of new charitable entities, addressing ad hoc queries from charity trustees and updating charity documentation and policies. During this seat, Frederick also gained experience working for a US charity setting up a number of legal entities in jurisdictions across the continents, working with foreign counsel throughout the process.
