ME IN A MINUTE

I have always loved organising things and connecting people

I have always loved organising things and connecting people, so it almost feels inevitable that I ended up with a career in knowledge management.

Having qualified as a librarian in 2006, I was able to combine an organised and analytical way of thinking with the insight and acumen of my international business degree to create the strategic insights required to steer our knowledge management function. Although I am no longer involved in the day-to-day running of our libraries, I maintain my connections to the library and information profession in my role as Chair of the KM SIG for BIALL (British and Irish Association of Law Librarians).

I have a very collaborative style of working and enjoy working closely with colleagues across our lawyer and business support teams. In particular, I love the international element of my job and value the opportunities I have to work with people across all of our international offices. The level of cohesion and support across our award-winning global Library and Knowledge Services team is one of my proudest career achievements to date.
