The article describes the battle between the two organizations over the registration of the trademark ‘INTER’, and the significant rights that are at stake for both organizations. Despite the longstanding battle of this case, the authors believe a decision on this claim will be expected in early 2022 and the significance of the rights at stake may lead to appeals to the Federal Circuit.
