The Withers tech team has advised Supernode Global Ltd as lead investor in the $4.5 million seed funding round into Eterlast Limited, alongside Play Ventures, Active Partners, Stake Capital, Immutable X and Founders Factory.
Supernode are an early-stage VC fund focused on seed stage companies who are building the next generation of digital content tools, as well as those platforms that positively shape the figure of how we learn, play, work and communicate.
Eterlast builds Web3 platforms for sport and media communities, aimed not only at delivering and democratising digital property rights of gamers and fans, but also acts as a bridge for the sport, media and gaming communities to adopt Web3 and push the NFT space forward.
Eterlast’s cutting edge platform brings digital products to life through the blockchain and creates value by letting consumers own and trade digital assets through its intuitive Web3 platform. Its pioneering platform ensures that NFTs traded are carbon neutral with zero gas fees and the platform is not centrally controlled by operators, thereby avoiding the associated security risk.
Oli Strong, Investment Associate at Supernode Global, who has a particular focus on the Web3 and NFT start-ups, comments “Withers tech were fantastic once again. The team’s attention to detail and prompt turnarounds really are second to none – all the while being very approachable and enjoyable to work with.
