Withers tech has represented Astanor Ventures on a Series A funding round into biotech startup group Hyris Ltd. Astanor led the funding round alongside a group of Italian investors, including Neos Medica, Idb Holding, and Pi Campus. Astanor Ventures is focused on investing in agri-tech businesses, and has supported Hyris, which has recently developed a kit to test for COVID-19 contamination on surfaces in its research centre in Milan.
Hyris is a biotech company that offers its partners and clients a disruptive platform that enables genetic testing of its biological samples in any setting, at any time, with real time access to results on its dedicated cloud based software platform.
The Withers tech team was led by Andrew Gay and Neil Jones, who were supported by Anna Farmer and Robert Martin, and a Milan team including Jacopo Ronchi, Jacopo Liguori and Francesco Paggiaro.
