Partner, Ridge Barker was featured in the article, ‘Sam Bankman-Fried’s Red Flags Were Seen in All Corners of His Empire,’ which was published by Bloomberg on November 30, 2022. The article details the financial implications of the FTX scandal as well as the status of charitable donations that were offered to several organizations by FTX founder and former CEO, Sam Bankman-Fried.

Ridge discussed the fallout in the wake of the scandal, while noting that some organizations may be at risk of having to return these charitable donations. Ridge comments “The bankruptcy trustee has the ability to claw back certain transfers. For most people it’s 90 days, but for insiders it’s a one year clawback."
