US sports personalities and athletes have spent over half a billion dollars this year on NIL (name, image and likeness).
It's not just for the pros, in fact it's quite the opposite these days. The opportunities are broad in this fast growing area and as Michael Rueda highlights in this interview, it is extremely important that student athletes receive the appropriate education and support from universities and others to help them maximize opportunities and manage risk.
