Our UK and Boston Life Sciences team acts as General Counsel for In3Bio, an international biotech company on all legal matters worldwide dealing with high value negotiations and contracts with third parties including pre-clinical trials and Phase III clinical trials.

Advised a syndicate of 21 banks in an up to US$900 million sustainability-linked loan (the "SLL") granted to APRIL International Enterprise Pte. Ltd. ("AIE") in 2022. AIE is one of the world's largest producers of pulp and paper. The SLL was AIE's first sustainability-linked loan under which it has committed to meeting certain ESG targets and the eighth cross border loan of a series of loan financings which is collateralised by a common security pool granted by the APRIL group of companies across 10 jurisdictions.

Represented MUFG Bank, Ltd. and Crédit Agricole CIB on their provision of a loan facility to AirTrunk. The loan facility was the first data center green loan in Japan and will be used to finance the development of Airtrunk’s newest hyperscale data center in Tokyo.

Represented Deutsche Bank, Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank and MUFG Bank on their provision of a sustainability linked loan for hyperscale data center specialist, AirTrunk, that set several industry benchmarks. 

Provided strategic crisis management advice to an emerging e-payments company, including managing adverse media coverage and issuing cease and desist communications to the offending media outlets.

Represented Singapore listed top commodity trader in an investigation for suspected false and misleading statements and breaches of disclosure requirements.

Advised a client in respect of inaccurate and damaging worldwide publications, engaging with mainstream media and social media platforms to provide accurate information and seek clarifications and corrections. Provided litigation support and litigation advice concerning the disclosure of attorney privileged and confidential information..

With the COVID-19 pandemic presenting unforeseen obstacles to our client's expansion plans, causing them to reach a crucial crisis point, we devised the strategy in a complex, cross-border dispute between Singapore and Hong Kong, which involved a SG$25 million claim against our client's business partner.

Represented a major telecommunications company and its Chief Executive Officer in litigation in respect of alleged wrongful termination of employment, and alleged defamation.
