Our firm in Italy is uniquely placed to serve clients locally and internationally with over 50 partners and lawyers based in Milan and Padua. Established in Italy since 2002, we provide our clients with sophisticated legal advice.

Our teams in Italy work very closely with colleagues based in London where we also have an extensive practice advising Italian clients with businesses and interests in the UK and internationally.

Our Italian offices have a specific focus on: corporate M&A, governance and reorganization, real estate, wealth management, estate planning and trusts, technology, intellectual property, privacy, litigation, arbitration, tax and immigration. We are active in a wide range of industry sectors including art, sports and talent, technology, luxury brands, fashion and beauty, food and beverage, consumer goods, manufacturing, hotels and hospitality.

Training in Italy

Graduates from Italian law schools can join our firm as trainee lawyers (praticanti avvocato) within one of our three legal divisions: business, dispute resolution and private client and tax.

All trainees are assigned a supervisor (dominus) and become a key member of the team from the start, working together with senior colleagues, learning how to provide comprehensive and innovative assistance to our clients.

Trainees receive a monthly compensation and are eligible for a discretionary budget for seminars and courses aimed at the preparation of the bar exam. Before the written and oral exams, they are entitled to paid study leave.
